I wanted to let you know what I’ll be up to this summer. Strangely, not much has changed in my offerings except that this summer my work will all be online, which means wherever you are, you can work with me (and my cats. LOL).
Developmental editing: I’m available for coaching and developmental editing for personal essays, memoir book proposals, and memoir manuscripts. My rate is 120/hour (99/hour for those with disabilities) and I make every minute COUNT. Learn more about my coaching here and sign up for an appointment by emailing me at email@example.com. If you want a developmental edit on a memoir manuscript or proposal, my developmental edit package is a better deal. You can learn more here.
Teaching: I’m teaching lots of short classes for Hugo House online this summer. The first one is a Publishing Intensive this Saturday May 9th with Claire Dederer, Peter Mountford, and Karen Finneyfrock with rock star publishing guests literary Agents Ayesha Pande and Annie Hwang, VP and Senior Editor Matt Weiland, and author Vanessa Hua.
June 19-21: Memoir Intensive. Let’s write together for 3 days! Zoom! Registration OPEN now.
The following Hugo House classes have an early bird discount for those who register before June 1:
Finding Your Story July 16th at 5pm Pacific Time
How to Write a Memoir Book Proposal July 18th at 1:10 Pacific Time
